To leverage the opportunities created by JnNURM, a transformative urban modernization initiative launched by the GoI in December 2005, a group of young professionals with diverse expertise and a shared passion for addressing critical development challenges came together to form Vision EIS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in 2006. In 2007, Vision EIS secured its first major assignment: preparing DPRs on Solid Waste Management and Water Supply for 20 towns as an associate/sub-consultant to a US-based firm. These initial achievements laid the foundation for securing prestigious projects funded by ADB, World Bank, JICA, DFID, and the GoI.

What began as a small group of professionals evolved into a rapidly growing enterprise. By 2010, Vision EIS had become one of the region’s fastest-growing consulting firms, expanding from a team of eight in 2007 to over hundred employees by 2015. With cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions, the company solidified its position as a trusted partner for clients.

Our company spiralled its growth through multi-sectoral expansion from planning, design and supervision of infrastructure projects for clients such as UDHD, FREMAA, SUDA etc to developing communication strategies for DFCCIL. A major milestone in our journey was being selected as PMC for the NULM in Bihar, first in 2014 and again in 2020, competing successfully against national and international firms. The company ventured into forestry and agriculture in 2022 and recently expanded its portfolio with large-scale infrastructure design and project management consultancy projects funded by ADB and World Bank across states like West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, and Gujarat.

Moving forward, we are committed to expanding our work in the development sector across the fields of environment, infrastructure, and social development while further diversifying into climate change, energy and sustainability.
